“I adore that pink! It's the navy blue of India,” declared Diana Vreeland, former editor of Vogue and source of many aphorisms. By this she meant that, just as navy blue in our culture tends to signify conservative respectability, pink exemplifies tradition and balance in India.

Commissioned by Vogue and David Jones we ‘embellished’ Sydney Foreshore Authority Heritage room and the Oversea Passenger terminal in both swathes of pink and crisp black and white houndstooth paper butterfles.

Vogue even quipped “Who would have thought babies breath chandeliers would be so VOGUE.” Thanks Nancy Pilcher, Vice President at Conde Nast Publications Asia Pacific.

Schiaparelli Pink & Chic Black & White?

A bespoke hand-tailored solution for Vogue Australia tansforming a maritime and services bunker by wrapping everything from lighting, furniture, silk curtains and floral chandeliers in Elsa Schiaparelli signature ‘pink’, including the Moet & Chandon champagne and canapés.

A chic pop-up champagne bar for David Jones at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay. The play on simple black and white objects and thousands of die-cut paper butterflies defined the space.
