Designing his home Villa Carmelina in Paddington Scott had meticulously collected fabric, trinkets and objects that became the impetus for the twelve custom colours specifically created by Wattyl. Colours that invoked memories, moods and backdrops fitting for such a grand residence.

Custom Colour

Villa Carmelina & Wattyl

In collaboration with Wattyl Scott has created a custom paint collection of 12 unique colours for my home ‘Villa Carmelina’, a grand 1889 Victorian Italianate terrace showcasing my passion of colour, pattern, texture, art, light functionality and beautifully crafted artisanal materials and finishes.

Being recognised as an Architect who is not formulaic, one that thrives on tailoring spaces that embrace, celebrate colour, pattern, decoration and texture in domestic interiors.  He approaches a client brief by adopting all those elements to curate a multi-dimensional, living portrait of the life lived within those walls. A philosophy which underpins everything he creates for each and every Client.

When it came to creating his own home, ‘Villa Carmelina’, was given the ultimate canvas to express that philosophy. His home is the culmination of all that he has learnt in the past quarter of a century of professional practice.
